The North Harris Trust
Established in 2003 the community-owned North Harris Estate lies 17 miles off the north western tip of Scotland. A dramatic Atlantic coastline and a spectacular mountain range make this a very special place.
We will meet with representatives from NHT and learn of their experiences of over 12 years of community land ownership.
This trip is funded by the Scottish Land Fund but there will be a cost per person, dependent on numbers participating, of around £50 per head plus your food.
We are hoping to book an outdoor centre that will provide us with self catering facilities.
This is a great chance to visit this beautiful island for an extremely low cost and to see a community land buyout in action.
We obviously have to book ferries and accommodation asap so please:
We look forward to hearing from you.
